MedicalCare.org helps families compare care options with official data, and get free help choosing.

What we do

We publish nursing home ratings, staffing and inspection data from CMS, and California assisted living licensing data from the Department of Social Services, in a form that's easy to compare. When you ask for help, we use what you tell us to point you to suitable options, and with your permission we may share your request with up to three care providers or care advisors in your area.

How we make money

MedicalCare.org is a for-profit business, not a nonprofit or government agency. Care providers may pay a flat fee to advertise with us. Paid placements are always labelled, and they never change the ratings or inspection data we show, which come straight from the official sources.

What we're not

We're not a healthcare provider, we don't provide care, and we're not affiliated with Medicare or CMS. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice. We don't endorse or guarantee any provider.
